Company History

In 1955, Albert and Gustav Schmidt started Joyce Manufacturing Co., humbly named after Albert’s wife Joyce. It all began in the family garage making awnings for homes. Their main intention of providing – with honesty and integrity – a quality crafted product. From awnings, they moved onto aluminum and vinyl sunrooms. It has grown to become a reputable and reliable supplier to the ever-changing needs of today’s remodeling industry. Fifty-five years later, Joyce Manufacturing is still family owned and now a third generation company providing the highest quality, state-of-the-art sunrooms and replacement windows to its 200 dealers nationwide. Joyce Manufacturing is proud to say they are “Cleveland’s ONLY Sunroom & Window Manufacturer.”

Joyce Factory Direct is the retail division of Joyce Manufacturing and offers factory direct prices in Northeast Ohio. Joyce Factory Direct paves the way for marketing, sales and installation training for the Joyce dealer network. Our local Northern Ohio community reaps a tremendous benefit by having our national training center in Cleveland. Joyce offices are in Berea at our manufacturing facility with a beautifully designed showroom.
