"Sales Pitch" and "Reality" are not the same!
We had a shower installed. The end result is OK; not the high-end shower you should get for the price. but nice.. My wife initially wrote a nice review because she thought Matt, our installer, did a great job and she wanted to compliment him. We struggled with saying anything negative, but a couple of things they did was simply not acceptable. (1) They ordered the wrong size shower base. There was a 2" gap between the base and the flooring. They suggested putting a "wall" corner strip on the floor to cover the gap, which would have looked awful, Yet, that is what they tried to have us accept. Initially, they said it would take three weeks to get the new base. Once we said we wanted it done right, they did find a base in Pittsburgh and the install was only delayed one day. But, the fact remains, they were willing to have us accept an unacceptable job. (2) When we were picking options, we said we wanted an extended length hose on our hand-held shower. Our salesman, Dwain, apparently did not have a longer hose in his price book, so he said if the hose is not long enough, just let me know and I will get you a
