What Homeowners Really Paid in 2026: Window, Bath, Door & Sunroom Prices
9:54

In 2026, the typical Joyce homeowner paid about $12,100 for a bath or shower project, $8,200 for replacement windows, $6,600 for doors and $45,400 for a sunroom. Those are the median prices from more than 3,100 projects Joyce homeowners actually bought between January 1 and October 22, 2026, across Ohio, Pennsylvania, North Carolina and South Carolina.

Most home improvement companies won’t publish what their customers pay. Cost websites publish national averages pulled from surveys and estimates. We think homeowners deserve better than that, so we went to our own sales records and published what people really paid.

These are real installed prices, not quotes, list prices or calculator estimates. Your project will be different, but this is the clearest picture available of what replacement windows, bath remodels, doors and sunrooms cost in 2026.

What did homeowners pay in 2026?

Here is the median price for each type of project. Half of homeowners paid more than the median and half paid less.

Project Median price paid Projects
Bath and shower $12,100 1,258
Replacement windows $8,200 986
Entry and patio doors $6,600 467
Sunrooms $45,400 176
Walls-only sunrooms (enclosing an existing patio or deck) $25,100 73
Patio covers $14,700 57
Screen rooms $15,700 48

Prices are rounded to the nearest $100.

Do prices change by market?

Yes, and sometimes by a lot. The table below shows the median price paid in each Joyce market with at least 20 projects of that type in 2026.

Bath and shower projects by market

Market Median price paid Projects
Pittsburgh, PA $11,500 218
Cleveland, OH $11,800 480
Charlotte, NC $12,100 222
Greenville, SC $13,300 95
Columbia, SC $13,300 118
Asheville, NC $13,600 114

Bath prices are remarkably consistent, with every market falling between about $11,500 and $13,600. That makes sense: a tub or shower is roughly the same size from house to house, and the biggest differences come from the type of project and the options chosen.

Replacement windows by market

Market Median price paid Projects
Cleveland, OH $7,000 593
Charlotte, NC $8,300 106
Pittsburgh, PA $8,700 132
Columbia, SC $11,500 26
Asheville, NC $12,200 99
Greenville, SC $18,200 23

Windows vary far more by market than baths do, and the main reason is project size, not the price of a single window. A window project’s cost depends mostly on how many windows are being replaced. Our data suggests many Cleveland homeowners replace windows in phases, a few at a time, while homeowners in the Carolinas are more likely to replace most or all of their windows at once.

Entry and patio doors by market

Market Median price paid Projects
Cleveland, OH $6,500 317
Charlotte, NC $6,800 40
Pittsburgh, PA $6,900 56
Asheville, NC $7,600 30

Sunrooms by market

Most Joyce sunrooms are built in Northeast Ohio, where the median sunroom in 2026 was $45,400 across 128 projects. In Charlotte, the median was $33,900 across 25 projects. Other markets had too few sunroom projects in 2026 to report a reliable median.

How much do replacement windows cost per project size?

Because window projects vary so much in size, the number of windows matters more than anything else. Our Window Cost Calculator data from January through July 2026 shows how starting estimates climb with project size:

Number of windows Median starting estimate
1 to 4 $2,624
5 to 9 $8,240
10 to 14 $14,264
15 to 19 $20,214
20 or more $32,066

The typical calculator project included nine windows, with a median starting estimate of about $10,100. These are planning estimates from homeowners researching a project, not completed-project prices. For more on what homeowners are choosing, see 2026 Window Calculator Trends.

How much does each type of bath project cost?

The $12,100 median covers every kind of Joyce bath and shower project. Here are Joyce’s published installed ranges by project type:

Bath project Typical installed range
Bathtub replacement $9,000 to $12,000
Shower replacement $9,000 to $14,000
Tub-to-shower conversion $9,000 to $14,000
Walk-in tub $18,000 to $22,000

Most Joyce bath and shower projects are installed in as little as two days, using SignatureStone walls about twice as thick as standard acrylic. For a personal ballpark, try the Bath Cost Calculator.

What about sunrooms, screen rooms and patio covers?

Outdoor living projects have the widest price range of anything Joyce builds. Joyce’s published installed ranges are $40,000 to $90,000 for sunrooms, $25,000 to $40,000 for screen rooms and $10,000 to $30,000 for patio covers, including design, engineering and installation.

The 2026 data shows one way homeowners save: a walls-only sunroom, which encloses an existing patio, deck or porch that already has a solid roof and foundation, had a median of $25,100, about half the median for a full sunroom. See the Sunroom Cost Guide for what affects price.

What makes a project cost more or less?

  • Size. The number of windows, the size of the bathroom or the square footage of a sunroom drives price more than anything else.
  • Product level. Glass packages, wall patterns, door styles and performance upgrades all add up. Nearly three-quarters of Window Cost Calculator users chose above-standard glass efficiency in 2026.
  • Your home’s condition. Out-of-square openings, aging plumbing, rotted framing or an existing structure that needs work can add labor and materials.
  • Options and accessories. Grab bars, seats, shower doors, decorative glass, grids and specialty shapes each add to the total.
  • Financing. Financed projects tend to be larger. Among calculator users who answered the financing question, 83% were most interested in same-as-cash or 0% interest options.

How should you use these numbers?

Use them as a reality check. If a quote is far above or below these medians, ask why. It may be a much larger or smaller project, a different product level, or a company that inflates its starting price to offer a big discount.

About the data

Prices paid are based on 3,100+ projects sold by Joyce Windows, Sunrooms & Baths between January 1 and October 22, 2026, grouped by each project’s main product type. Figures are medians, rounded to the nearest $100, and may include additional products purchased on the same contract. Market medians are shown only where at least 20 projects of that type were sold in 2026. No customer information is included. Window project-size estimates come from Joyce Window Cost Calculator records submitted between January 1 and July 31, 2026, and represent planning estimates, not completed purchases. Bath, sunroom, screen room and patio cover ranges are Joyce’s published installed price ranges. This data reflects Joyce projects only and is not a survey of all U.S. homeowners.
